Hey Cats & Kittens...
On this day in 1993 Razor Ramon defeated Rick Martel for the WWE Intercontinental Title on an episode of RAW is WAR.
Now Razor, aka Scott Hall, really had it all. Size, skill, charisma....
But the only thing he didn't have, and still doesn't have, was the ability to keep his demons in check, because there is no reason as to why he couldn't win a World Title. To my knowledge, he really only had one major WWE Title shot at that was against Bret Hart at the 1993 Royal Rumble.
Regardless... he was the first wrestler to win the IC strap four times, a record that would stand untill Jeff Jarrett won his fifth IC title in 1999. Speaking of Jarrett, Razor won his 2nd and 3rd IC titles off of Double J with the fourth being off of Dean Douglas.
It's arguable that his bigger success was in WCW, where he won the Television, United States and Tag Team ttiles. But again, Hall's personal demons kept him from the very top. His return to the WWE in 2002, his runs in TNA, were all cut short because of his problems.
I really need your help. A notoriously cruel circus is
scheduled to be in Leesburg, FL on Oct. 28 - 29. There's already a massive
demo organized, but I want it cancelled before it ever gets started.
The Cole circus has had employees prosecuted for child rape, negligent homicide, burglary, and the list of horrible animal abuse is documented going back for decades.
I don't know how to do this any other way, so I hope I can count on ya'll for help. Can you please cut and paste the following letter in an
email and email it to the addresses for the Property Management Company
and the Investor Group?
Thank you so much for your help. Sometimes
financial losses are the only way to get the abusers' attention.

BOYCOTT OF ALL SIMON-MANAGED MALLS UNLESS COLE BROTHERS CIRCUS IS CANCELLED AT LAKE SQUARE MALL
Lake
Square Mall in Lake County, Florida is providing the venue for the
notorious Cole Brothers’ Circus. Since this circus has an extensive
history of extreme cruelty to the performing animals as well as crimes
against spectators and bystanders, THIS IS MY PLEDGE TO BOYCOTT ANY
SIMON PROPERTY GROUP.
Cole Brothers’ employees have been prosecuted for everything from child rape to negligent homicide in the deaths of two elderly people by unlicensed operators. They have
a two-decade long history of violations by the USDA that have never
been rectified. The most recent citations were issued by the USDA in
April 2008 for extreme cruelty to animals.
From
1983 through 2005, Cole Brothers circus, and the venues which sponsored
them, were responsible for: A man who suffered multiple traumas,
including broken bones, when an elephant grabbed him and threw him to the ground. An elephant crushed a woman to death in Connecticut.
Although the USDA cited the circus for inadequate security on multiple
occasions, no provisions were implemented to protect spectators. Two
tigers escaped from an unlocked cage in Pennsylvania and roamed around a crowd of 2,000 people. An elephant crushed a man to death in New York. Also in New York, a 450-pound tiger escaped, two women suffered spinal fractures and filed a $60 million lawsuit; a multi-car pileup on the Jackie Robinson Parkway resulted.
In
August 2001, a Cole Brothers circus clown was found guilty on nine counts, including sodomy, sexual abuse, and
endangering the welfare of a child, for sexually abusing a child. The
boy testified that the clown, Christopher Bayer, began sodomizing him
when he was 11-years old.
The Cole Brothers circus has been
cited as recently at April 2008 for failure to provide veterinary care
to the performing animals. Because elephants are not examined or
treated for tuberculosis, they pose an extreme health risk to any audience. In 2007, one USDA inspector observed that because of
the failure to provide medical attention, “prohibiting public contact
with these elephants is necessary to ensure the health of both the
elephants and the public by minimizing the potential spread of
tuberculosis.”
In May 2008, a Cole Brothers employee admitted to committing three burglaries.
Cole Brothers Circus has consistently been cited by the USDA for violations of extreme animal cruelty for over two decades. No effort has ever been made to provide the
animals any relief. Elephants are consistently and regularly beaten
with bull hooks as business-as-usual and receive no medical
attention. Again, the violations are far too extensive to enumerate,
but typical for Cole Brothers: In June 2000, Pete, an elephant
regularly beaten with bull-hooks, kicked and beaten with rods,
sufferred from arthritis and age-related injuries. He was unable to
perform his act properly at an event in New York. He was taken to a
tent where he laid down. Five trainers beat Pete with bull hooks.
Pete died.
I am very troubled that you would support such an event and I will make certain that my voice is heard in this matter.

Hi all,
I am the Editor. I am here to ensure that all on this site
are behaving ‘Creatively’. So, point
one, do not let my opening statement in anyway intimidate you! For the purpose
of this site, ‘Creativity’ can be
described as:
‘Creativity is a
mental process involving the generation of new idea’s or concepts, or new
associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts. An
alternative conception of creativity is that it is simply the act of making
something new.
From a
scientific point of view, the products of creative thought (sometimes referred
to as divergent thought) are usually considered to have both originality and
appropriateness.
Although
intuitively a simple phenomenon, it is in fact quite complex. It has been
studied from the perspectives of behavioural
psychology, social
psychology, psychometrics, cognitive
science, artificial intelligence, philosophy, history, economics, design
research, business, and management, among others. The studies have covered everyday
creativity, exceptional creativity and even artificial
creativity. Unlike
many phenomena in science, there is no single, authoritative perspective or
definition of creativity. And unlike many phenomena in psychology, there is no
standardized measurement technique.
Creativity
has been attributed variously to divine
intervention, cognitive processes, the social environment, personality
traits, and chance ("accident", "serendipity"). It has been associated with genius, mental illness and humour. Some say it is a trait we are born with; others say it can be taught with
the application of creativity techniques | simple techniques.
Although
popularly associated with art and literature, it is also an essential part of innovation and invention and is important in professions such as business, economics, architecture, industrial
design, science and engineering.
Despite,
or perhaps because of, the ambiguity and multi-dimensional nature of
creativity, entire industries have been spawned from the pursuit of creative ideas
and the development of creativity
techniques.’ [1]
Therefore, please feel free to be as creative and
imaginative as you wish. The rules are few and simple. Respect your fellow
users; be courteous and kind, abuse will not be tolerated at any time. No
illegal acts, no need to spell out that one and finally be respectful,
remember, this is a forum, valid input and free opinion is right of every
Creativesonline site member.
Have fun and feel free to contact me on any site based
issues.
I'm glad to be part of this community. I've written a novel that I want
to get to market. Learning about agents and how to make a match with
the right one is my current challenge. I want an agent who loves my
novel, has tons of experience connecting authors like me with the right
publisher, who is interested in working together for a long time, and
who is professional and fun to work with. Am I asking too much?
The class on writing a query is one that I'm looking forward to
starting on the 23rd. Anyone with tips on the agent search, please
share your ideas!

Quieres Recibir a Cristo?
(I Pedro 2:24)
Folks one of my dearest friends has arrived at Blue Goose. I have learned so much from her and she has such depth of heart. Simrat will show many of us how to journey in harmony with the bigger plan as our guide. I love this woman! She has a daughter who I believe has depth of connection with the universe beyond most of our comprehension. We'll see if I'm correct as time passes by, but I think this girl is meant for bigger things.
Please welcome Simrat to our fold. I think she will surprise you all! Sofia, I think you will find Simrat refreshing and helpful in your journey. ChrisJC she has a sense of correctness that is expressed in a comforting and welcoming way, I think you will find her enlightening and balanced and a true comrade.
Welcome Simrat! :D How'd ya like that for putting you on the spot? hehe
After carrying my route today, I got back to the post office about 3:40 PM. That's about twenty minutes early, since my end time is 4:00 PM. The station manager, a person I don't think has ever carried mail, asked me why I was back so early. I was puzzled, since I'm thinking the goal is to get back as soon as possible. I told her that I could leave and come back later. She thought for a second and declined my offer. But she explained to me about the current policy that all carriers should clock in with no more than five minutes left before the end tour. I explained to her that this is nothing new for me, that I got in trouble with the last supervisor for coming back early. I told her I get in more trouble coming back a few minutes early than people who come back several hours late. The problem (if you call it that) is that I don't want the overtime, and I finish my route in a timely manner so I can go home. But the dumba$$ postal management doesn't know what to do with someone who comes back early, as the rest come back late. I'm often the only one who doesn't use any overtime.
I told my plight to a fellow carrier, one whom I consider one of the best carriers I have ever known in my life. He told me that he was actually given a Pre-D (pre-disciplinary interview) for coming back early. It was his day off, he finished his route, and he came back a little early to make sure he didn't go into penalty time. The dumba$$ supervisor actually gave this stellar carrier a Pre-D!!!!! How's that for stupidity?
So this afternoon the station manager calls me into the office. She says she remembers someone telling me I'm good at something, but can't remember what it is. I'm looking around her office, and it looked like a hurricane had hit it. I'm assuming she wants some help, so I answer the question by telling her I used to be a 204B. She says no, that's not what she heard. I tell her I'm pretty good with the Internet. No, that's not it either, she says. I tell her I'm also good with the computer. Nope, that's not it either. Then she remembers. She tells me that she heard I was good at hanging things. Well, that's a new one for me. Eventually she told me she heard I was good at hanging bulletins on the bulletin board, and she had a lot of them, judging by the mess in her office. Bizarro is the word.
We recently got a new "enforcer" supervisor. He's a 204B, I believe light-duty, and from what I've heard he can't get promoted to full-time supervisor because he can't even pass the initial, qualifying ASP supervisor test. I also heard he was one of the worst carriers at his station. In fact, one of our carriers who's not known for being that great, said they used to send HIM to help the 204B! The 204B started off on his first morning by telling carriers they can't report to the clock area to clock in until five minutes before the start time. He's new, but he's telling carriers that have worked at my post office for 20 or 30 years or more they can't be on their own workroom floor. It's not like carriers are reporting too early - maybe 15 minutes early so to give a little leeway as to not be late in case of traffic etc. For decades, we've stood around the clock waiting to clock in. Can't anymore. Now we have to wait in the parking lot or the small break room.
The unsatisfactory supervisor has continued his antics, including giving Pre-Ds and Letters of Warnings for one missed scan and for going over DOIS time one time. He's been there a week and already he's got several EEOs in the process of going against him. Plus, he's blatantly violating the contract by giving discipline based on DOIS alone. I think he should get a Letter of Warning for failure to follow instructions.
Anyway, all the carriers at my post office are raw from the abusive managers that are paraded through our station. And we're not going to take it anymore. We're going to file our EEOs and grievances until this unsatisfactory supervisor is gone and we get someone who is somewhere close to being professional. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with the Dallas management team. There are still a few good ones left, but most are not qualified, are unprofessional and just plain mean people. Back when I started in 1990 there were many good supervisors. They had been hand-picked once they proved themselves as carriers and showed some leadership qualities. Today, the ASP system picks people based on demographics, not proven managerial abilities. Now, we have a bunch of unqualifed people supervising in Dallas, and the work environment has never been worse to my knowledge. The sorry supervisors band together and watch each other's backs, forming an impromptu coalition against competent managers and upper management. Bizarro is the word, and the Postal Service in Dallas should be ashamed of the way they are treating people. This is the 21st century, yet they're using late 19th century intimidation and coercion management techniques. Until the USPS resolves this problem, the workplace in Dallas, and I'm sure in other cities, will continue to be marked by inefficiencies, incompetence, and confrontation.

“My images demand attention”. They
are drunk with colour, which activates the
emotive content and enigmatic drama theyoffer. I want the viewer to be overwhelmed by their saturation. An
ambition for the work is to produce imagesthat are difficult to be indifferent to.
Even though thecolour is highly charged there lies a psychological
edge tothe painting, whether
as a portrait or invention, which worksin conjunction with the colour to add to its
presentation. Iwant
the viewer to be reduced to silence in experiencing thework, where the image takes over and words becomeredundant.
In this current work I have reduced my
palate and have begun toexplore situating the figures in more invented spaces.
I believe theystill
contain the psychological and emotional field that interests mebut with a more
coherent delivery. Although I have reduced thepalate of the paintings, the colour is still there and
is best experiencedfirst
hand, particularly in some works, where it seems to be seepingback in through the
darkness.
